Ms. Lilian Yew, the Chief Nurse at Raffles Hospital, possesses over three decades of nursing expertise in both public and private healthcare sectors. She holds both a degree and master’s in health sciences from SIM-The University of Sydney in the early 2000s. Being a life-long learner, she also graduated from the Master’s in Education Programme in July 2023. Under her leadership, her team has achieved various accreditations, including ANCC re-accreditation with Distinction on two occasions. Ms. Yew serves as the Vice President of the Singapore Nurses Association and was 2023 Top 10 finalists for the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award. She was honored as "Chief Nurse of the Year" by Hospital Management Asia and holds a volunteer position as a Board Member of Upsilon Eta Chapter (UEC) Sigma Theta Tau, enabling her to collaborate with nursing professionals globally for fostering nursing excellence. In 2024, she is a nominee for the Global Women of Influence Awards 2024, driving impact & change.
