Australian Healthcare Week Celebrates Frontline Heroes at Westmead Hospital
The Australian Healthcare Week (AHW) team had the privilege of connecting directly with the incredible clinicians and frontline healthcare workers at Westmead Hospital and across the Western Sydney Local Health District. As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and celebrating those who tirelessly serve our communities, we set up a free coffee stand at Westmead Hospital.
"We are deeply honoured to have had the opportunity to connect with the healthcare heroes at Westmead Hospital and the Western Sydney Local Health District," said Puja Pankhania, Managing Director. "Their commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient outcomes is truly inspiring. The free coffee stand was a small token of our appreciation for their hard work and dedication."
This was a wonderful opportunity for us to spend the day interacting directly with frontline healthcare workers, hear their experiences, and gain valuable insights into the challenges and triumphs they face every day. It was a reminder of the incredible impact these professionals have on the lives of patients and families in our community.
A special thanks to Dr. Christian Igasto and the team at Western Sydney LHD for their support with our initiatives!
