Speaker Spotlight: Catching Up With Michelle Fenwick, Executive Director of Northern Health
By 2031 the outskirts of Melbourne are expected to increase in population by 63%. The region is currently experiencing significant population growth, which is expected to continue over the next 10 years. In response, Northern Health has taken pre-emptive steps to ensure the continuous supply of new and talented healthcare staff, as well as helping to develop the right workplace culture for a greater employee and patient experience.
With culture slowly forming in the growing organisation (approximately 70% of staff having been at Northern Health less than 4 years), there is opportunity for clinical staff to accelerate their career and improve the overall workplace environment.
