The Australian Healthcare Week’s 2023-24 State of Industry Report is compiled with input from a cross-section of clinical, nursing, medical, ICT, operational, and capital development leaders from across Australia.

This report analyses responses from 100+ respondents who have offered an insight into how their transformation and investment priorities have evolved as we emerge from a couple of years of pandemic response which drove rapid experimentation and innovation.

Importantly, we are seeing policy and funding reform backing the intent in the healthcare community to take us into a future of integrated, preventative and value-based care across the end-to-end health and aged care continuum.

Building up to the 12th Australian Healthcare Week’s Health Facilities Design & Development Conference (15-16 March, ICC Sydney), we surveyed our community of health executives to find out how exactly these macroeconomic and policy changes have influenced the planning, design, and delivery of hospitals.
